Pastoral Care at St. Martin's has many facets, all stemming from God's love which we have received and want to share. Clergy are available for counseling and hospital visits.
We have several trained lay Stephen Ministers who can offer one-on-one caring and listening.
Our Helping Hands bring food to your door during a time of need.
Other ministries of pastoral care include sending cards or bereavement booklets, and knitting prayer shawls for the ill.
A Healing Prayer ministry is very strong at St. Martin's. Every Sunday at St. Mary's altar and on occasional evenings there are dedicated parishioners who will listen confidentially and give the healing touch of God's presence. |
